Account Deletion & Data Retention (Google Play & Mobile App Users)

In accordance with Google Play User Data policies and applicable data privacy standards, registered users of the Own Yog Android mobile application and web platform have the right to request the permanent deletion of their account and all associated personal data at any time.

How to Request Deletion: You can submit an account deletion request without signing in by visiting our dedicated Request Account Deletion page.

Data Deleted: Upon verified request, we permanently erase your profile credentials (name, email, password hash, role), Google authentication identifiers (Google ID, cached Google avatar URL), uploaded custom profile photographs, mobile API access tokens (Sanctum), active sessions, learning progress history (user_lesson_progress), lesson bookmarks, personal notes, and program entitlements.

Data Retained: A minimal administrative record of the deletion request is retained in an audit log for compliance and verification purposes (recommended: 90 days). Standalone customer service correspondence and temporary server security logs (rotated within 14–30 days) may be retained for security and fraud prevention.

Note: To protect account holders against unauthorized loss of access, an email-based ownership verification step is required before permanent database erasure is executed.
