Submit a formal request to permanently delete your Own Yog mobile app account and all associated personal learning data.
Applicability to the Own Yog Android App & User Accounts
This page provides a publicly accessible mechanism to request account and data deletion for registered users of the Own Yog Android mobile application (available on Google Play) and associated Own Yog services. You do not need to be currently signed in or have the mobile app installed to request deletion.
What Information Is Deleted?
When an account deletion request is verified and processed, the following personal data is permanently and irreversibly removed:
google_id) and cached Google profile avatar URLs.
personal_access_tokens) and active web sessions are immediately invalidated and destroyed.
user_lesson_progress).
user_lesson_bookmarks).
user_entitlements).
What Data May Be Retained & Retention Periods
Certain minimal records may be retained temporarily for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance:
A record of your deletion request (timestamp, email address, and processing status) is preserved in an administrative audit table to provide proof of compliance with regulatory and Google Play policies. Recommended retention: 90 days following completion of deletion.
Messages previously submitted through the public Contact form are stored separately from user accounts as general customer correspondence. If you also wish historical contact inquiry messages to be purged, specify this in your request.
Newsletter subscriptions are maintained in an independent mailing list. Deleting your learning account does not automatically unsubscribe your email from the newsletter; you may unsubscribe at any time using the one-click unsubscribe link in any email newsletter.
Standard web server connection and security logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) are maintained temporarily for system security, DDoS mitigation, and rate limiting. These logs are automatically rotated and deleted by the hosting server within 14–30 days.
What to Expect After Submitting

Request Recorded
Your request is securely recorded in our administrative queue with an encrypted timestamp.

Ownership Verification
To protect accounts against fraudulent or unauthorized deletion, our educational administration verifies ownership by contacting the registered email address before initiating permanent removal.

Permanent Data Purge
Once verified, all user records, progress, tokens, and storage media are permanently deleted from database and storage systems.

Final Confirmation
A final notification is sent confirming that your account has been fully closed and data purged. Processing is typically completed within 7–14 business days.

Enter the email address associated with your Own Yog account. We will initiate ownership verification.
You can edit your display name, replace or delete your profile photograph, or view your learning bookmarks directly from the Profile screen in the Own Yog mobile app without closing your account.
